through social media platforms

The company United Rental Group, sro, Ivanská cesta 4358/43, 821 04 Bratislava, IČO: 44560940 (hereinafter referred to as the “United Rental Group”) in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 OF REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter "the Regulation ") hereby provides information on the processing of personal data by the company society through social media platforms:

Taking into account the services provided by United Rental Group, the sites and media channels operated within the relevant social media platform are intended exclusively for persons over 18 years of age. If the functionality of the social media platform allows it, access to a specific page and / or media channel is also allowed only to registered persons over 18 years of age.

WHAT CATEGORIES OF PERSONS CONCERNED ARE PROCESSED?

For the purposes of this information, the data subject is an identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is processed by United Rental Group via social media platforms (hereinafter referred to as the " data subject "). These are usually visitors to sites / media channels set up and operated by United Rental Group, in particular:

Unregistered individuals on the relevant social media platform who visit the site (e.g., based on a search using a publicly available search engine)
persons registered within the social media platform FACEBOOK / INSTAGRAM , who have a profile / account set up and who visit the site and freely express their interest in receiving information and news (page tracking) or express their opinion with the content of the site via the "Like" button "/" Tracking "/" Watch ", or by recommending the site to others,
persons registered within the social media platform YOUTUBE, which are subscribed to with a service account provided by Google LLC and who, at their discretion, become subscribers to the content of the media channel through the "Subscribe" button,
persons registered within the LINKEDIN social media platform , who have a profile / account set up and who visit the site or are free to express their interest in receiving information and news (following the site) via the "Follow" button,

Affected persons may also be other persons whose data is disclosed by the person concerned mentioned above during his operation on the social media platform, which United Rental Group cannot define in advance. The data subject who discloses the personal data of another person acknowledges that he or she may do so only in accordance with the Regulation and the applicable policies and conditions of use of the relevant social media platform published by their operators.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA ARE SUBJECT TO PROCESSING?

For the purposes of this information, personal data shall be any information relating to the data subject which can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or by reference to one or more elements specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the person concerned. The persons concerned are not obliged to provide their personal data to United Rental Group for the purposes stated in this information (if the social media platform allows it).

In particular, the following personal data on registered data subjects may be processed by United Rental Group within the relevant social media platforms:

the name (username or the name of the data subject, which the data subject shall indicate during registration) and the nickname of the data subject,
profile and title photograph (photograph of the person concerned or another photograph, which may also contain images of other natural persons, localities or interests of the persons concerned),
contact details: e-mail address, telephone number and address of residence,
data on the age, hometown and sex of the person concerned,
information about relationships with other individuals, including information about family members,
information about the school attended (primary, secondary, higher) and information about employment (about work),
information on the languages which the person concerned indicates that he can communicate with them,
information on life events provided by the person concerned,
the place where the person concerned appeared and indicated his presence at a specific place,
information about the person concerned, which he / she will include and publish about himself / herself in the profile, including opinions, statements and other information and data from published contributions (statuses, photos, videos, comments, etc.), participation in votes, events and polls, etc. within the social media platform,

name (username or the name of the person concerned, which the person concerned shall indicate when registering),
profile photograph (photograph of the person concerned or another photograph which may also contain images of other natural persons, localities or interests of the persons concerned),
contact details: e-mail address, telephone number, address of residence or other place given by the person concerned as an address,
data on the sex of the person concerned,
information about the person concerned, which he / she will include and publish about himself / herself in the profile, including opinions, statements and other information and data from published contributions (statuses, photos, videos, comments, etc.), within the social media platform,

YOUTUBE

name (username or the name of the person concerned, which the person concerned shall indicate when registering),
profile photograph (photograph of the person concerned or another photograph which may also contain images of other natural persons, localities or interests of the persons concerned),
contact details: e-mail address, telephone number,
gender data,
information about the person concerned, which he / she will include and publish about himself / herself in the profile, including opinions, statements and other information and data from published contributions (videos, comments, etc.), within the social media platform,

LINKEDIN

name (username or the name of the person concerned, which the person concerned shall indicate when registering),
profile photograph (photograph of the person concerned or another photograph which may also contain images of other natural persons, localities or interests of the persons concerned),
contact details: e-mail address, telephone number,
gender data,
data on the place of occurrence or current work,
recommendations from other persons to the person concerned (references, confirmation of knowledge, skills and knowledge, etc.),
and other information that the data subject publishes in his profile (in particular data on education, interests, employment, experience and skills, etc.), including opinions, statements and other information and data that the data subject publishes on the social media platform,
and other non-predefined data of the data subject, which the data subject shall provide:
during communication with United Rental Group within the relevant social media platform (eg in the framework of comments on contributions published on sites / channels, in the framework of private or group communication of so-called platoons, etc.),
during the publication of contributions within their own profiles / accounts that the registered data subject designates as publicly available.

The extent of personal data that is available about the data subject to other persons and entities within social media platforms is fully dependent on the level of privacy, public or availability of the data / profile of the data subject made directly by the data subject, or through the setting of cookie processing. the processing of which the person concerned is free to decide.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES WILL THE PERSONAL DATA BE PROCESSED?

United Rental Group, when operating websites and media channels within the relevant social media platforms, processes personal data primarily for the following purposes:

providing targeted and non-targeted business and marketing information relating to the promotion of the sale of goods and services provided by United Rental Group, including the promotion of sales promotions, events, events and the organization of competitions and surveys,
providing information related to the company United Rental Group (eg information on job offers, the company's successes and significant events, etc.),
informing about participants and winners of competitions organized by United Rental Group and their progress, in accordance with the published terms and / or competition rules,
communication with the persons concerned in connection with the comments and contributions published by them (responses to contributions and comments posted by United Rental Group or others, positive or negative reactions and references, etc.),
communication with the persons concerned in the framework of reports sent to the company United Rental Group or within group conversations (so-called group platoons),

Disclosure of comments and contributions is generally subject to the approval of United Rental Group or its duly authorized administrators, but this is not the rule . United Rental Group reserves the right to delete the contents of these posts and comments , especially with inappropriate or prohibited content.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data on sites and media channels operated by United Rental Group on social media platforms (for the purposes set out above) there is a legitimate interest in the interest of the company in building its good name and relations with the persons concerned (Article 6 (1) (f) of the Regulation).

Every person concerned has the right to object at any time for reasons relating to her specific situation against the processing of personal data concerning him which is carried out based on a legitimate interest of United Rental Group , including an objection to profiling. United Rental Group will not further process personal data unless it demonstrates to the data subject the necessary legitimate reasons for the processing which outweigh his interests, rights and freedoms, or the reasons for proving, asserting or defending legal claims.

In view of the above, United Rental Group respectfully requests interested parties not to include any of their personal data or the personal data of other individuals in the comments and contributions they wish to publish on the social media platform, as United Rental Group has no control over their security. protection and security and verification of the legitimacy of the processing of the data concerned. Retention periods for the personal data of data subjects : personal data processed to the extent and for the purposes set out above are retained as follows:

The data subject may request that the retention period for such personal data be shortened by requesting United Rental Group to delete the personal data in question.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA JOINTLY WITH SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM OPERATORS.

United Rental Group and the operator of the relevant social media platform may also partially process the personal data of the data subjects as joint operators (in accordance with Article 26 of the Regulation). When setting up sites and media channels within the relevant social media platform, United Rental Group accepts the terms of operation of those sites and has no (or only minimal) effect on changing those terms.

Operators of social media platforms also offer other tools and services used for effective targeting of marketing communication (eg display of advertising content to selected persons, distribution of messages with advertising content, etc.). The profiling of natural persons is carried out at the sole responsibility and on its own behalf by the relevant operator of the social media platform and United Rental Group does not have access to the data of these persons and does not have the ability to influence the processing of such personal data. Depending on the operator of the social media platform, various functionalities and tools are made available to the persons concerned, with which they can manage e.g. preferences for displaying advertisements and sending messages with advertising content, or request the exercise of any right guaranteed by the Regulation and related to the processing of personal data of the data subject.

Such personal data about the person concerned is also collected by social media platform operators on sites and media channels operated by United Rental Group within the relevant platform. They are used mainly for the purposes of:

profiling of the data subject, which may be performed by the relevant operator of the social media platform (see above) to the extent of the data subject's privacy and preference settings. United Rental Group has no influence on such processing (it may not prohibit or allow such profiling as part of the operation of its sites or media channels).
the creation of site or media channel statistics by the relevant social media platform operator (see above) for the needs of United Rental Group. The site's statistics are generally based on personal data collected in connection with the visit or interaction of the persons concerned with the site or media channel and its content. United Rental Group has no influence on such processing (it may not disable or allow such profiling as part of the operation of its sites or media channels), but has the ability to review and handle these statistics as part of the functionality of the sites and media channels.

WHAT RIGHTS DOES THE PERSON CONCERN WHEN PROCESSING HIS PERSONAL DATA?

The person concerned has the right to:

for information on the processing of her personal data,
gain access to the personal data processed and stored about it,

request deletion their personal data when they are no longer needed or when the processing is illegal,
object to the processing their personal data for marketing purposes or on a basis related to a specific situation,
